Renard Cheren, a South Florida native, is a freelance camera/steadicam operator working out of Los Angeles. His journey in film started as a high school hobby, creating football highlight tapes and workout videos. 
 
Renard was a four-year Division I student-athlete at Northern Illinois University. Following a career ending injury, Renard retired from the sport. Applying the work-ethic and grit that he developed as a student-athlete, Renard was excited to transition into his career as a camera/steadicam operator. 

A committed long-distance runner, Renard continues to embrace challenges and push his limits, a mindset he brings to his work on set.

After his graduation from NIU, Renard relocated to Southern California and currently resides in the Los Angeles area.
